Innovation Summit Pilot Grant

The Innovation Summit Pilot Grant provided eligible organizations between $1,000 and $7,000 to pilot an idea that targets the root cause of a complex challenge you are facing. This grant opportunity was available exclusively to 2018 & 2019 Innovation Summit attendees and reflected an idea for a small-scale pilot that incorporated concepts learned at the Innovation Summit conferences.

This funding was made available by the Innovation Fund Foundation through donations from the Qualified Education Donation Tax Credit, pursuant to O.C.G.A. § 48-7-29.21. The Qualified Education Donation Tax Credit allows individuals and corporations to donate to the IFF and receive a dollar-for-dollar tax credit (not just a deduction) on their state income taxes, subject to availability. The Foundation is authorized to receive up to $5 million through this tax credit on a first come, first-served basis. The IFF will use these funds to provide grants to improve student achievement.
